TABERNACLES
A tabernacle is a "tent," "booth" or temporary dwelling place.
God told Moses to build a Tabernacle in the wilderness where He would commune with man. The Tent or Tabernacle that Moses built is symbolic of individual Man. You are the real Tabernacle or dwelling place of God! Your body is the final intended "booth" where God will dwell for eternity.
1 Corinthians 6:19
What? know ye not that Your Body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost.
John 2:21
But he (Jesus) spake of the Temple of his Body.
Here is a scripture in Revelation which describes the final dwelling place or true Tabernacle of God. This verse shows the ultimate fulfillment of "The Feast of Tabernacles." Have you heard of the Feast of Tabernacles?
Revelation 21:3
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the TABERNACLE of God is with Men, and he will Dwell with them…
We will look at the connection between the "tabernacle" of your body and the "Feast of Tabernacles." God has a specific three fold plan to save your whole being.
(You) ð Spirit, Soul & Body
(God) ð Jesus, Holy Spirit & Father
(Feasts) ð Passover, Pentecost & Tabernacles
God made man in His image and likeness. Man is a triune being like God. We are Spirit, Soul & Body or three in one.
1 Thessalonians 5:23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole Spirit and Soul and Body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
When we study out the word for Spirit we find it is the Inner Man, or the Heart. The Greek word for "Spirit" is Pneuma. The real you is Spirit. You are a Spirit. You have a Soul. You live in a Body!
The Greek word for "Soul" is Psuche (or Psyche). The Soul or Psyche is better understood as the Mind. The Soul is very different from the Spirit. They are as different as your Heart and Mind.
Some Christians have a very carnal Soul/Mind even though they have received Jesus in their Heart/Spirit. There will be a group who actually put on the Mind of Christ! They will experience a complete salvation of the Soul/Mind.
James 1:21
…receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your Souls. ï Written to Christians! (with Jesus already in their Heart/Spirit but still needing a further salvation of their Soul/Mind!)
Many Churches and Christians do not understand the difference between Spirit & Soul and hence there is much disagreement among them. The Sons of God are led by the Spirit not the carnal Soul.
The Body is easy to define. The body is the flesh you see when you look in the mirror. You are a Spirit, you have a Soul and you live in a Body. God has a plan for all three.

Every man in Israel was commanded by God to appear THREE times before Him. Three separate times. There were 3 major Feasts in the Old Testament.
Exodus 23:14
Three Times thou shalt keep a Feast unto me in the year.
Exodus 23:17
Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.
Deuteronomy 16:16
Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread (Passover), and in the feast of weeks (Pentecost), and in the feast of Tabernacles…
Every man was commanded to appear THREE times before the Lord. Attendance to these 3 feasts was not optional. God was setting the pattern for His plan for man. There was a specific reason for every detail of these feasts. Each of these three major feasts pointed to an Event which would fulfill their true meaning.
The real fulfillment of these feasts will prove to be the three most important events of all history; 1) the crucifixion of Jesus, 2) the baptism of the Holy Spirit and 3) the Manifestation of the Glory of the Father.
These three feasts were only a type and a shadow of what God would someday bring in FULLNESS. These feasts were but a figure of the real thing. Two of these feasts have already fully come. One is still yet to be revealed. The greatest event of the history of the world, the Feast of Tabernacles is soon to happen!
The FEAST of PASSOVER
During this first major feast each man had to sacrifice a Lamb. The blood of this Lamb had to be applied to the top of the door of his own house. When the Death Angel came and saw the blood of the Lamb on the door, he would PASSOVER that house. When the Death Angel did not see the blood applied to the door, death resulted!
This major feast pointed to the time when Passover would FULLY come. Jesus is the real Lamb who was slain for the sins of the world. Today we individually apply the blood of Jesus to our Heart’s door in a spiritual way. Thanks to the blood of Jesus, we are free from the Law of Sin and Death. It is no coincidence that Jesus was crucified during the Fullness of the Feast of Passover. Jesus fulfilled Passover once and for ALL.
John 13:1
Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father…
Jesus dwells in our Heart/Spirit. Watch how a pattern begins to develop. Jesus is the Passover lamb. His blood is applied to the Spirit (Heart or Inner Man).
Ephesians 3:16-17
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the Inner Man; That Christ may Dwell in your Hearts by faith…
When the feast of Passover fully came Jesus was crucified and saved our Heart/Spirits.
It’s no coincidence that when the feast of Pentecost fully came the Holy Spirit came to our Soul/Minds.
Acts 2:1
And when the day of Pentecost was Fully come…
they were all filled with the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Spirit saves our Soul or Mind. He "teaches" us all things and brings all things to our "remembrance." We are taught and we remember in the MIND. The Soul is the Mind. The Holy Spirit brings the engrafted word which is able to save our Soul/Mind (James
