YAHSHUA MESSIAH
YahShua, the Messiah, was brought into existence at the time He was conceived in Mary. I do not believe He existed in any form prior to that time. He only existed in the mind and heart of Yah before the foundation of the world, like a child exists in the loins of a father. The whole creation and Yah’s plan for man was thought out in advance, before the first creative word. Everything hinged upon this one solitary man, and He was made for the express purpose of bringing many sons unto glory. YahShua, the second Adam, is the first fruit of the sons born of incorruptable seed.
Where did YahShua get His flesh? Yah needed to have a flesh body in order to have blood, the sustaining substance of the flesh. But, with the second Adam, YahShua, He was also a quickening spirit. His life force was not the blood that kept His flesh alive, but rather His deity, His spirit. How do I know this? He was Emmanuel, meaning "Yah with us". "Yah is Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." YahShua said, "I lay down My life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of My Father." Can an Adam human being do this?
The secret lies in the word commandment in the last part of that verse. The commandment, which means "law", is present in Him because He is an eternal being, and can not die. It is the "law of the Spirit of life", and it is this law He passes on to us that we might be free from the "law of sin and death".
The flesh was called the Son of Man because it took its humanity from Mary. He is the Son of Yah because He is an extention of Father Yah. Now, I realize that YahShua referred to Himself as the Son of Man. This was because He was a real human being while in the flesh, howbeit, not with the fallen nature of Adam. He felt hunger, pain, sorrow, and grief. He was wet, cold, hot, and dusty just as we are at times. Father Yah had chosen to lay down His deity, and take upon Himself the form of a mortal man. This does not mean that He was not Yah in the flesh, Emmanuel, but that He chose not to act out of His deity. He laid it down or laid it aside. You may be a father or mother, but when with your friends you lay that down and do not treat them as you would your child. That does not make you any less a father or mother, but that is not what you are displaying when you are with your friends. This is the point I am making. On the one hand He was a human being, and on the other hand He was a spirit Man. His life force is spirit and this is what He imparts to us when we are born of the Spirit. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, that which is born of the spirit is spirit."
The Law of Names
Names in the Holy Scriptures were significant. Most all of the names in the scriptures have a meaning which conveys a message. Yah even changed some people’s names as a message in the change itself. Old Testament persons usually had just one name. By New Testament times there were so many people with singular names they could no longer be used. Therefore, during Roman occupation the law concerning names was, "the name of the son must contain the name of the Father for identification purposes, or the person must be identified by his father's name." When a person was formally introduced to someone they were told their given name (slash) bar (slash) their father’s name. For example: the sons of Zebedee, James and John, would be James-bar-Zebedee or John-bar-Zebedee. The word "bar" means "from" or "out of" when used between a son/daughter and father’s name. When it comes before a name such as Barnabas or Barabbas it simply expressed "son of", such as Barnabas is "son of Nabas" or Barabbas which is "son of Abbas". We can see this by the scriptures, "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Messiah, the Son of the living Yah. And YahShua answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Here YahShua was using Simon Peter's formal name. With YahShua, the proper name of Yah’s Son, you find the name of the Father at the beginning, because He was predominately Yah in the flesh.
Literally, Yah does not have a name because He is simply the existing spirit, one of a kind, and there is no need to place a name upon Him to distinguish Him from another since there is no other true deity. But, He has many titles. When Moses asked Him who He was He answered, "I am that I am." What He was saying is that He, Yah, is the existing one.(HSN1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal) When Moses complained that he needed a name to tell the people who would ask who it was that had sent him, Yah answered, "Tell them that "I am" has sent you." So all of Yah’s names throughout the Bible are really titles expressing an attribute or characteristic of Yah. The word "God" is Elohim (HSN430) which means, "gods in the ordinary sense; but is also used of the supreme God". YahShua’s name is a description of the Father, because He was the Father coming in a certain office, Savior to mankind. YahShua testified of this when He said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am". And again when Philip asked Him to show them the Father He replied, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?" The Hebrew name for our Hevenly Father is "Yah", the existing one, and the position He was holding while in His flesh was that of a Savior, thus we have YahShua, "Yah's savior". Yah(Father's Holy Name) Shua(salvation).
"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty Yah, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
The Blood
Why did Yah have to become flesh and have blood in His body? We know from the Law that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. And why could He boldly proclaim, "I am the resurrection and the life" and then proved it by rising from the dead. Because He is spirit and life, and it is that "factor" that He passes on to His descendants. Everything produces after its kind. He left the life of the flesh at the foot of the cross as a ransom for our sins, and was resurrected with the power of endless life flowing through His veins. The disciples beheld the glory of the only begotten, not formed or created, but the Son of Yah.
You must believe in the Immaculate Conception of Mary, which explains the divinity of YahShua. "He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of Yah."
The Bible clearly states that the Messiah is to be the heir to the throne of David. It says, He will sit on the throne of His father David. He came out of the household of David through Mary. "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest, and the Adomni Yah shall "give" unto Him the throne of His father David." It was not an inheritance, it was a divine gift. Nothing about bloodline is mentioned here. Many times someone will sit upon the throne of a relative who is not blood related. I am not denying the family line He inherited from His mother, but His bloodline was of Yah.
The moderate fundamental Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem believe the bloodline flows through the mother. However, if this is correct why does the Bible always follow the bloodline, lineage, through the males? Why were the Pharisees so proud to be called in the lineage of Abraham? Why not of the mother Sarah? This is an ironies teaching because we can find in several places in the scripture where the female or mother of someone was taken from a race outside of Israel, such as Ruth. No pure Israeli blood there and the lineage would stop at that point if the bloodline was followed through the mother. Why does Yah always refer to Himself as the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? Why not mention the women if the bloodline flows through them?
Here is another, a breeder of fine purebred dogs and horses always follow the bloodline through the male or stud. Are they just stupid or do they know something after all?
Here is something else to ponder. The seed was the Word of Yah planted in Mary's womb by the angel who spoke with her. He had to get her to receive the Word, seed, before she was found with child. So, from this I see the Word of Yah is the seed of YahShua and the Father is the Spirit of Yah and what is produced is the Holy Thing. He was a new creation man. Why do I say this? Because, we ourselves have to come in contact with a WORD of Truth and accept it before the Holy Spirit can make it come alive in us. This is called spiritual conception. Our flesh is the surrogate to the spiritual man being formed inside of us.
To be the true sacrifice for our sin YahShua had to be without spot or blemish. He has divinely created blood in Him just as Adam had created blood in him in the first creation. He was called the second Adam because He was begotten in the earth of Mary, the clay, which Yah used to get His flesh.
The flesh provided His bodily substance, but His life force was Yah. "For as the Father hath life in Himself; so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself." That is why He is called the second Adam. The first one was soulish and not perfect, so Yah made another, and this one is spirit and perfect. The law required a different kind of blood, thus the blood of animals was used in the sacrifices. In the Law the sacrifice blood had to be different, pure and innocent of the fallen nature to effect forgivness of sin. The wife of Moses accused Yah of being a "bloody Elohim" because His covenant with Abraham was circumcision and that drew blood. Yah also demanded blood for the covering of sin. The life of the flesh is in the blood. It was a matter of Law, "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, blood for blood. It is the "law of sowing and reaping" which says that what is planted is what is reaped in abundance.
Adam's punishment was death, and death passes on to all his seed. Every person that comes into this world will die for his or her sin. The animal sacrifices were promise blood, a "promise" of a better covenant, they could never remove sin. And, the animal used had to have no spot or blemish. It only spoke of a time when pure, undefiled blood would be shed once for all for the sins of the world. So, the innocent, sinless blood of animals was used to push the sins of the nation forward one year. This continued until Yah provided for Himself a sacrifice, holy, blameless, and without sin. And, this time it would be human blood to satisfy the law. We are told that YahShua is "the Lamb of Yah that taketh away the sins of the world." He is not of the earth, just as we who are born of the Spirit are not of the earth. YahShua had to have innocent blood to save our souls. I hate it when people make YahShua a son of Adam. He was the Son of the living Yah even when He walked the earth. "If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which IS in heaven." John the Baptist knew it,(John 1:29) Mary declared it,(Luke 1:47) Simon Peter recognized it,(Mat. 16:16)The disciple John bore record of it, (John 1:34) Thomas saw it,(John 20:28) and YahShua stated it.(John 10:36)
All Things for Us
He was tempted for forty days in the wilderness, but not as a man would be, He was tempted to use His divinity when He was supposed to be laying it down. He was tempted to use His power for self-gain, to satisfy the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. He was tempted in like manner as we. These three things are the areas we are tempted in ourselves. However, we are not tempted to turn a stone into bread. Temptation is in the realm of possibility. If we are hungry, as he was, we might be tempted to steal to satisfy our need. That is in the real of possibility. He was there to overcome in those three areas for us, just as the cross was to pay the sin debt for us. That was something we could not do for ourselves in that we were weak. But, He being in the form of man, in human body, became a stand-in for us and was victorious for us and gave His life blood for us. Everything Yah ever does is for us, for those things which we are not capable of doing ourselves until He brings us into maturity of our spirit, and His likeness is manifest.
What a wonderful thought, especially when we look at what it was that YaShua overcame in the days of His temptation. He was tempted to make bread out of stones by His deity even though He was laying it down. He was tempted to put Yah to a test and throw Himself off the Temple thus displaying His eternal life. And, finally He was offered a pot of earthly stew as Esau was. The idea was since He was laying down His deity, then let Him worship the things humanity does, and sell His birthright. My, what a wonderful thing He did for us. Now we can overcome making bread, money and gain, by our place in Yah. We can walk confidently in immortal life without tempting Yah to display it to the world, thus gaining approval of man, and gathering a following that would build our self image, and make us boastful with pride. And, finally we are no longer held in bondage by the weak and beggarly elements of this world, but can stand in the heavenlies and have fellowship with Father. MY! MY! I have never thought of it this way before. Let us give Yah praise and glory, for He has done great things for us!
He was a new creation man, a new species, there had never been one of His kind on earth before, but, there should be many of us now. He was a spiritual man, and as such the things of the lower life of fallen man did not have place in Him. The lusts of the flesh were not present nor did He find earthly life a thing to desire. He was a heavenly being, and He is the firstborn of many brethren. "And YahShua said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world." Yes, He was tempted in like manner as we are in that we are tempted in who we are, to display our new creation life, and make gain of it. We, being His other brethren, have followed Him in His death, have been buried with Him in His baptism, and are coming forth in His resurrection likeness. This earth life loses its hold on us as we overcome it, and become spirit beings. We could only do this because He was our stand-in, our substitute, and He overcame it all for us. Praise Yah!
YahShua was the great intercessor. Whatever He did, He did for us. He was tempted for us so that through His victory we might overcome. He became a servant to all that we might not be in bondage to any. He fulfilled the law so that it would have no more dominion over us. He was cursed that we might be blessed. He was despised and rejected to make us accepted in the beloved. He made intercession for us in Gethsemane so that we might stand in our darkest hours. He died on the cross for us so that we might live. He was raised from the dead for us so that we might enter immortality. All that remains for us to do is accept His gift and recognize His sacrifices. His was the doing part, ours is the accepting part.
The Intercessor
Let's look at the disciples’ darkest hours and see the intercession of YahShua.
"Then YahShua went with His disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and He said to them, "Sit here while I go over there and pray." He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with Him, and He began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then He said to them, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with Me."
A lot of people believe YahShua was fearful of death when He was in the Garden just before they came to crucify Him. I would like to point out that was what He was born to do, and that was His purpose in the earth. He told the disciples many times that He must suffer and die. He even rebuked Peter for trying to hinder Yah’s plan when he was thinking of YahShua's flesh life instead of what the mind of Yah was. So, in the hours before His arrest, He spent His time in the garden of Gethsemane, not sweating that He was about to die, but sweating about the effect His death would have on His disciples. Intercession is the hardest thing besides death to do. It is a death in itself, taking upon oneself another person's life. He was in effect interceding that the cup His disciples were about to drink of would pass from them. In intercession you literally become the object of your intercession. I have done it many times.
How do I know YahShua was making intercession for the disciples? Let’s look at a few scriptures and put them in context of the situation. This is basic for understanding of scripture. Scripture must stay within the context of what is happening for the true meaning to be seen. Too many times religious leaders take scripture out of context and use it for their own purpose, essentially changing the whole meaning, or concept of what Yah was trying to convey.
The Darkest Hour
Then YahShua told them, "This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: "I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered." But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee." Peter replied, "Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will."
"I tell you the truth," YahShua answered, "this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times." But Peter declared, "Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you." And all the other disciples said the same."
What was YahShua’s concern just prior to His prayer? Was He wringing His hands because He was about to die? No! He was concerned as to how the disciples would react to His arrest and death because He knew what was in man and the weakness of their flesh. He knew that when Yah did His will in the following few days the disciples would be scattered in fear and many would fall away because of Him. He told the disciples what they would do, and Peter challenged His wisdom by speaking once again from the heart of a man. He did not fully understand Yah's plan. Many times we, as people of Yah, do the same thing to someone who says Yah told them to do something foreign to our understanding of Yah's will. The Master then told Peter just exactly what He would do. He did this to teach Peter not to trust his own heart, even in his deepest sincerity.
"For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of Yah knoweth no man, but the Spirit of Yah."
Man without the Spirit can only give mental assent to a thing. It takes a heart change to bring reality and security. Man without the Spirit knows not his own heart, but when the Spirit of revelation comes He will reveal the heart. We, as believers, must trust the work of the Spirit to reveal what is in us, so that we can, in return, give it to Yah to be consumed in the Spirit’s fire. Remember the Holy Spirit was not only given as power, but also as fire.
The Garden Experience
YahShua began to be sorrowful and troubled because He knew the hearts of His disciples, and how they were about to enter the greatest test of love that they would ever face. He went straightway into intercession for the disciples, but not only for these disciples, for all disciples in all ages that were to come. There will always be a time in believers' lives when their hearts are revealed, and their love will be tested. But, fear not, for YahShua has made intercession for us, and the Spirit Himself helps our infirmities by making intercession for us.
YahShua took the three disciples who were His closest companions a little further from the other disciples and spoke to them. In our day there are many followers of YahShua, but now He has called His elect to come away from others and go a little further with Him. Many do not like this message, but if we wish to see His glory we must also be willing to go further with Him and away from the others.
YahShua confided, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death." He was overcome with the sorrow of the weakened condition of His followers, and the knowledge of their impending failure. He was about to face the purpose for His appearance on earth, and all He could do was grieve for those whose lives would soon be in turmoil because of it.
His instructions were, "Stay here and keep watch with Me". We too must keep watch, or be diligent, and stay with YahShua. In this present hour of darkness many do not go a little further with YahShua and lose sight of Him. Then they begin seeking to find Him in many places by running from this meeting or to that meeting, from this ministry or to that ministry. We were told not to do that, for He is not found "out there". He is to be found where we have fellowship with Him in the "inner man".
The cross He was about to face was for us, but now we find Him entering into deep intercession, praying for the disciples and us. He was not praying that the cup of death be removed from Him as men believe and teach. He was praying, once again, on our behalf that we, as His "called out ones", will not have to drink the cup of faltering and failure as persecution comes from being associated with Him. He literally took upon Himself our doubt and fear, our trials and tribulations until He sweat, as it were, great drops of blood. Without His having done this for us we would never have made it beyond the cross. However, sometimes, we must be sifted to see what is within us, and Yah alone knows what is needed in our lives to bring us into His will. Thus, He continues His prayer for us by saying, "O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." In the heart of a true Son of Yah this same attitude will be the end of every prayer and every action in his life.
Three Times
This same thing happened three times. It is significant that it happened three times. Not only is three the number value of completeness, but it speaks of the three realms of experience that all believers go through before they are made perfect or complete. This is the cup that we drink, the one He shares with us just as He did with His disciples in the upper room. The outcome of our lives would be disaster if YahShua had not stayed awake and interceded for us.
"Then he returned to His disciples and found them sleeping." His heart grieved and He pleaded with them as He pleads with us today, "Could you men, sons of Yah, not keep watch with Me for one hour? Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."
The first time the Master comes to us He finds us sleeping, dead in trespasses and sin. We are found asleep and unaware of His presence and He awakens us to Him. This is the Passover experience in our lives. "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation." He warns.
"He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done." When He came back, He again found the disciples sleeping, because their eyes were heavy."
It is interesting that the second time He does not awaken the disciples, but lets them sleep. "The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." The second time He comes to us also is at Pentecost, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. All that is seen are gifts and blessings because their eyes are heavy. That is the way it has remained since the day of Pentecost. They, and present day believers remain asleep to the true purpose of this outpouring which was, and is, to make them overcomers. It is power to overcome the fallen nature, and to be conformed into the image of His dear Son. Yah does not awaken them from this slumber, and the Ekklesia, Church, has been asleep for almost two thousand years.
"So He left them, and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. Then He returned to the disciples and He said unto them, ...The son of man is betrayed unto the hands of sinners."
Judas betrayed YahShua to the religious system of his day. YahShua is being betrayed in this day by his own, who become his betrayer and that with a kiss. They boldly declare that they are his, all the while doing what the religious system wants.
When He returns from making intercession the third time He must come to us and awaken us to the reality of what is happening in this hour. Each time His sustaining prayer keeps us and gives us the strength and courage to go on. The last time He came and found the disciples sleeping He said, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near. Rise, let us be going…"
Tabernacles
At this hour Yah is awakening His people for the final time. This is the third and final realm of experience for the Church, Ekklesia, and they are coming into Tabernacles and into their election. It is at this Feast that Yah is doing a new thing and bringing some out of the body, or the congregational realm, and bringing them into the realm of sonship, Tabernacles. In this realm there is an open heaven and divine fellowship with Father. You hear His voice and learn of Him. Until you know the Father, you do not really know the Son. There are no man-made ordinances in this place, no ministry, no in part realm. Here is where the fullness of complete spirituality is brought into existance. You can usually tell which realm people are in by their words. Those who are "religious" talk about their church or ministry. The "Body People" who have come out of religion talk about YahShua, and being one with Him, but the "sons of Yah" talk about their Father Yah. All of the old man-made ways are left behind and we are in the Tent of Meeting outside the camp. It is here that the carnal self-life is laid down, and immortality and spiritual life become predominate.
"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of Yah is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and Yah Himself shall be with them, and be their Yah. And Yah shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful."
