MORIAH
WHOS FORSAKING WHAT?
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Heb. 10:25)
Over the years the people of God have heard this phrase time, and time again. It was used against those who were coming out or had come out of the man-made church system. It usually made one feel condemned and even more confused about what was going on. We were all told that we were forsaking the assembling of ourselves with other believers, and of course according to the common understanding of this scripture we were in big trouble. Well I have some good news for you, it is time for you to get life out of this word instead of death, knowing this beloved your Father is not angry at you, for it is He, by his Spirit that is drawing you out of that wicked system.
God has been calling His elect out of the Harlot church system for many hundreds of years. That accursed whore has been commiting fornication with the kings of the earth for lo these 2,000 years. So this is not a "new" thing He is doing. But "Praise be to God" that is not the end of the story, it is only the beginning. We are at the doorway of a new millenium, the day when this temple that has been in ruin will be raised to new heights. It truly has been a long dark night, but hallelujah!, light is beginning to break forth as the dawn upon the mountains. The Day Star is arising in the hearts of his elect in this hour, and I tell you by the word of the Lord, that God will have a people in His Image and Likeness.
Now I would like to teach more specifically on Heb. 10:25. If you begin reading at the beginning of Chapter 10, you will see that the writer of Hebrews is comparing the law, sacrifices, and Levitical Priesthood, (which were a shadow and not the reality of things to come) to the Mechezidekian Priesthood. Now lets look at verse 19-25 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21And having an high priest over the house of God; 22Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
As you can see by the above scriptures there is an assembling taking place, but it is not located in this earthly realm where the serpent crawls, and controls. It is in another realm a Heavenly one. You see brethren we are to enter into the Holiest of all, following the lead of our High Priest, for He is our pattern. He is the door to Fathers house which is not of this carnal system of religion.
23Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.(Heb. 10:23-25) In verse 25 the scriptures declare an assembling of the people of God. The word assembling is the Greek word episunagoge (Strongs # 1997), and bespeaks of a gathering together at a specific location, in this instance the Holiest of all. It is used only one other time in scripture, 2 Thess. 2:1. 1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. This particular verse is a parallel to Heb. 10:25. They both are in reference to the Parousia or Presence of the Lord, they both are dealing with the entering into the Holiest of All, and both verses are dealing with the Day of the Lord, which we are even now entering into.
Do Not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, but let us "forsake the traditions of men", that make the word of God of none effect. For we are being called to a Holy convocation beyond the veil, that is to say His flesh. Yes there is an ingathering happening in the spiritual realm, but they who are minding the things of the flesh will not see this Holy meeting, nor will they understand. But to the ones that do understand be encouraged. The Lord Jesus Christ walked and lived 2,000 years ago and is living and walking in this day through a people, the Body of Christ. Consider it an honor to be made partakers of the suffering of Christ. He is in this day outside of the camp of organized religion. 12Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. 13Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. Heb. 13:12. And as He is in the world so are we. 1 Jn. 4:17
Concerning the ones who are still within the walls of ecclesiastical bondage, we are to have a right spirit towards them, even as David did toward Saul. But hear this my brother and sister, Sauls reign is coming to an end, and David is ready to take His rightful throne. Hallelujah! the reign of flesh is coming to its end!
