THE COMFORT OF THE HOLY GHOST:

You long for My perfecting love within. But remember that it is I who must call those near Me who have been hurt by the briers, to clean each one and pour the healing ointment of the Holy Spirits comfort upon their sores.

Without the comfort of the Holy Ghost you cannot be free to move on. Therefore do not be embarrassed to seek My comfort when you are troubled. I do not want you defenseless against the powers of darkness that lure round about, buffeting your faith at times of stress. But I will give you My comfort that you may abide in safety. The receiving of My comfort shall keep you on the chosen path. Without My reassuring love, you will find yourself backing away from the duties at hand and discouragement shall keep you company.

Let My comfort keep you company in the midst of your troubles and I will deliver you out of all of them, and you shall no longer turn back. I have seen how you have hated to turn back. But remember that a mountain climber cannot start his climb without proper equipment. Neither can you hope to press forward without My reassuring love through the comfort of the Holy Ghost.
