The Manchild
"In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged (espoused) to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you." Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name YahShua. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."
"How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?"
The angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God." Luke 1:26-35 NIV
This is a beautiful story of how God injected himself into humanity; "but a body you prepared for me." Heb. 10: 5 The purpose for this is clearly spelled out. "And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of YahShua Messiah once for all." Heb.10:10 NIV
We find that the scriptures compares Messiah and the ekklisia(church) to that of a marriage between a man and a woman. "For the husband is the head of the wife as Messiah is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior." Eph. 5:23 NIV
This is the union of a marriage or a contractual intimacy that in effect make two people one. "After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Messiah does the (ekklisia) church -- for we are members of his body. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery--but I am talking about Messiah and the church." Eph: 5:29-32 NIV
So we can conclude from this that by receiving the Covenant in his blood it becomes literally a marriage contract. The bride is espoused to Messiah.
The King James Bible says Mary was espoused to Joseph. Being espoused is the time after the marriage contract has been signed but before the couple come together to unite. Like today, when you get married and sign the marriage license. The time before sexual relation occurs between the husband and wife is what the word "espoused" means. You are legally married but the marriage has not been consummated.
In the Hebrew custom this was the time the bridegroom spent preparing the bridal chamber or residence for the wife. YahShua said, "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:2 NIV
I want you to notice the bride is not espoused or married to YahShua, but to the Messiah. This statement was no mistake on the part of the writer, it is divine truth. She is not the bride of YahShua, the flesh of God, but of the Messiah, which is by interpretation, "the anointed one." Messiah speaks of the Son of God after he was resurrected and ascended into heaven. The bride is the body of "the anointed" and bride of Messiah.
Further we see the details of this Covenant and the vows of the marriage contract. "That if you confess with your mouth, "YahShua is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Rom. 10: 9-10 NIV
As with Isaac, Father has sent his servant, the Holy Spirit out to secure a bride from his own people and the Holy Spirit brings gifts that represent the riches of He to whom the virgin will merry. Isaac is a type of Messiah who loved her even before he ever saw her.
Now because the scriptures compare the marriage between a man and a woman to Messiah and the ekklisia, it therefore gives us the pattern of heavenly things. A man and his bride are not blood kin but the two become one upon consummation of the union. Uniting again what was taken out from Adam in the beginning, to make one. "Now you are the body of Messiah, and each one of you is a part of it." 1 Corinthians 12:27 NIV
Then we happen upon the scripture where YahShua says, "I tell you the truth, no one can see(understand or recognize) the kingdom of God unless he is born again." John 3: 3 NIV
I would like to show that as the bride in the natural is not the son produced in the womb, so the body of Messiah is not sonship. It is an out-birthing of the body from God the Father while the bride is espoused to the bridegroom. Just as Mary birthed YahShua before the consummation of her marriage to Joseph. So God will take a son from the bride before her Marriage to Messiah.
Becoming a bride does not take a birth. It takes a commitment, a binding legal agreement signed in blood, but to become a son requires a birth. "In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering. Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So YahShua is not ashamed to call them brothers." Heb. 2:10-11 NIV. However, we must come through the bride to become a son. So, we see two distinct relationships here: brideship and sonship. Bridship is the sixty-fold realm and the relationship is with Messiah. Sonship is the hundred-fold realm and this relationship is with the Father.
Just as in a physical birth, the life of the father penetrates and inters the egg to reproduce himself there. The seed then adheres to the body to take sustenance but is in reality separate and distinct. Nature has provided a sack or a protective membrane to keep the bodys immune system from devouring that which is not a part of her. In the same way the Spirit penetrates the carnal mind of the Bride and the Holy Spirit protects it while the body nurtures it and birth it in its season. God did not intend for us to be brides, but to pass through brideship to become sons of God. However, through His foreknowledge God seen that some will remain members of the body for they are female in nature, while others will become sons. Each has their unique relationship and fellowship with God. Some will take their inheritance on the east-side of Jordan and not go in to possess the land.
The bride and body is female, the son is male. We know that it is the female who receives life and it is the male that gives life. Now as the Adam family is two, both male and female, they come together in intimate union to make one. It is a matter of position in the kingdom and of spiritual growth. Brideship is corporate, dependant on others and one with Messiah the Head, while sonship is one on one relationship with the Fatherhood of God. This relationship does not depend on others and is uniquely one with the Father.
When one reaches the point in him where teaching is no longer needed, one becomes a Manchild(fully mature) and is called along side the Father, caught up into heaven, in a Father-son relationship. God himself becomes the source of spiritual understanding. The Manchild Company is made up of many sons conformed into his image. The life of the flesh is in the blood; the life of the son is in the spirit. This transition is called resurrection. That is, the coming from the tomb of earth into the power of his resurrection, mortal putting on immortal, temporal putting on eternal. Then shall the scriptures be fulfilled which says, "O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?" 1 Cor. 15:55 NIV
Any Children born through the brides body bares the bloodline of the father, sharing the name of the father and in effect becoming an extension of the father. In spite of some teaching today, the scriptures bears out this fact by listing the bloodlines through the males. Nowhere in Scripture is the bloodline carried through the female.
"A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads. His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days. Rev. 12: 1-6 NIV
We are told this is a sign. (Rev. 12:1) and a sign is just a sign not the thing itself, only a symbol of the thing. If you are driving along on an interstate highway and see a billboard advertising something, you are not foolish enough to believe that the sign is the actual thing, so do not do that with spiritual things.
Here is a beautiful picture of the birth of the Manchild, sons in their own right, just as YahShua was a son in his own right. These are as the scriptures teach "the many sons" of which YahShua is the first born? These are "not a part" of Messiah, as is the bride, but YahShuas brethren and sons to Elohim just as he. These sons come by divine birth (incorruptible seed) another extension of Elohim himself, Father of many sons.
We are shown a picture of the Body of Messiah or the Bride. A woman clothed in the sun,(more properly "Son") under her feet the moon and a crown(Gods government) upon her head.
Where do we see the moon? What do we know from science about the moon? In the natural she has no light of her own but reflects the light of the sun and gives light to the darkness. The work of the church(moon) is to reflect the Son to the world in spiritual darkness.
Let me show you what YahShua himself says would happen. (Mt. 24:29) "The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky." Was he talking literal here? Remember, YahShua said, "The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life." John 6:63 NIV From the time YahShua died on the cross and rose the third day Gods concern has primarily been spiritual, to bring the Manchild to understand their new nature. 2 Cor. 5:17
The woman represents the ones called out, the "Bride" or "Body of Messiah who have the glory of God surrounding her (clothed in the sun). She is the ten wise virgins. The sun(Son) has become darkened as YahShua foresaw for he has no influence in the church anymore so Gods glory has departed it and now rests upon the woman.
It is one thing to be called out, it is another to go in. The sons will go into heaven and the bride will go into the bridal chamber. If you will receive it, the bride is those who will walk the earth in everlasting flesh bodies. John 3:16 The sons are those who undergo a birth or metamorphose change and become spirit beings as did the pattern Son. "But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him " 1 John 3:2 NIV
I want you to note that the woman is not a part of the moon(church), she has overcome it (the Babylon Harlot Religious System) and put it under her feet like an enemy. Rev. 12:11
YahShua told of a time when the stars would fall from the sky and be flung to the earth. Mt. 24:29;Rev 12:3-4 Stars are heavenly bodies or ministries. Jude 1:11-16 Men with the call of God upon their lives who burn out in the friction of the perverse atmosphere of the Religious System, taking its mark and falling from the heavens.
Is it not from the body that the child comes? Is the child the body? In the natural does the bride become the son once he is birthed? The body of Messiah is the bride because they become one by union, but in Rev. 12 we find the woman delivers or births the child and he is caught up to heaven(realm of power and authority) while she, the bride of Messiah, remains in the earth realm and goes into the bridal chamber, place prepared for her(Hebrew custom).
Paul explains, "There are celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial." This he said in connection with resurrection. Then we are told that some will not sleep but be changed. The bride will remain a terrestrial(earth bound)body (corruptible putting on incorruptibility) and the sons will become celestial(heavenly bodies), that is mortal putting on immortality. And it says, " The glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another " 1 Cor.40-41
However, she, the bride, births the child first just a Mary birthed YahShua before her marriage to Joseph was consummated. "He did not have sexual relations with her until she had given birth to a son and he named him YAHSHUA." Mat. 1:25 JNT
Mary asked, as many of us do today, "How can this thing be?" The answer is as valid today as it was when the angel spoke to Mary. Spiritual conception is on this wise; The Holy Spirit shall come upon and the power of the Highest shall overshadow therefore that holy thing born in you shall be called the Son of God. It takes a conception(a revelation) of the Fatherhood of God to begin to form in us the son.
As in a natural conception we must grow and be nurtured in the womb and come to full maturity, or full term. The earth flesh is the womb of eternity. We, the sons, are in the womb of the body developing, yet we remain, as a baby in the womb, a separate entity, or move of God from the bride that is one with the Messiah. From the fatherhood of God comes a people being conformed into the image of his dear son, taking on his nature and character(His Name).
I see two distinct moves of God here. The bride or Body and the Manchild birthed out of the womb or body. As Mary was found with child from divine means, so the bride or body of Messiah is found with divine life in her womb before her marriage is consummated. One ascends into heaven and the other remains earth bound and goes into the bridal chamber under the protection of the Messiah. The bride is saved by faith and the son is birth.
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" Eph.2:8 NIV "For you have been delivered through grace by trusting, and even this is not your accomplishment but Gods gift." JNT This puts you in the bride. However, we find that YahShua instructed to be, "Born of the Spirit". So many do not know this birth but remained saved by grace through faith. It takes a conception(revelation of the Father) to put one in the womb and there grows until birthed at the manifestation, revealing of the son. Rom. 8:15-25
Until then we are not seen for we are hid deep within the body of Messiah. However, as the natural woman shows something going on in her. Even so, the bride is now large with child and showing the impending birth to the wondering eyes of the world. Everyone, even in the secular world, knows something is about to happen. Creation is travailing to bring it forth. The time is at hand and we must not terry in the womb, but press toward the mark of the high calling of God.
Press on sons of God!
