Preface to the Language of Prophecy

 
 Dear Beloved Brethren,
 
 "But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day,
 nor night: but it shall come to pass, 'THAT AT EVENING TIME IT
 SHALL
 BE LIGHT.' " (Zechariah 14:7)
 
 We do want to welcome you to this 'HIS VOICE THROUGH THE WEB'.   It
 is once again 'LIGHT IN THE EVENING TIME.'  Be blessed with it and
 remember, PASS IT ON TO OTHERS that it might be made plain upon the
 tables (of their hearts) so that as they read, they too might run
 with it.  Other writings have been posted on the Kingdomlife

 uses him to direct the affairs of that website.
 
 Today, we want to start with the "PREFACE" to "LANGUAGE OF
 PROPHECY"
 which we believe the Lord in His mercy is leading us into this time
 around and we did promise at our last meeting.
 
 "Language of Prophecy" examines, among other things, in a series of
 teaching, what is indicated in Revelation 1:1 as characteristic of
 the Book of Revelation.
 
 Symbols, Figurative expressions, Spiritual imageries, Shadows and
 Types abound in the visions John received of the Lord.  We are to
 understand that such is the language register employed throughout
 the
 Bible, especially in the prophetic portions.
 
 To properly understand these series of messages, it is important to
 keep in mind that they were first given in a spoken ministry
 designed
 for use in the Television Programme 'Light In The Evening Time'
 which
 comes on air weekly.  The spoken form is retained, and script being
 merely a 'transcribed' work with little editing.  Several volumes,
 each covering related subjects, will follow this.
 
 The main thrust in the delivery is to minister the present truth,
 which the Lord is commending His people to today, as He prepares
 the
 willing hearted.
 
 Every reader would find each book a blessing.  The more earnest
 ones
 will be brought into an encounter with Christ that releases to them
 'the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him'.  For
 this, we are earnestly holding unto the Spirit of grace in prayers,
 and trust you would do the same.  May the Lord richly bless 'YOU'
 for
 Himself and His Church, AMEN.
